By using Versed Bible, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
Versed Bible is designed to help users read, study, memorize, and engage with the Bible.
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the app, other users, or our services.
You agree not to:
- Attempt to break, bypass, or interfere with app security
- Attempt to access premium features without an active subscription
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse app content or services
- Abuse audio generation, transcription, or backend services
- Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws or store policies
2. Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure. You are also responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, please contact us.
3. Premium Features and Subscriptions
Versed Bible may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. Premium features may include:
- Premium Audio Narration
- Male and female narrator voice options
- KJV+
- Strong’s word tagging
- Bible dictionaries
- Commentary features
- Other premium study tools
Subscriptions are processed through Google Play or Apple App Store, depending on your device.
We use RevenueCat to help verify subscription status and unlock premium features.
Subscription prices, renewal terms, cancellation options, and billing details are shown at the time of purchase through the applicable app store.
4. Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings.
You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through the store where you purchased it.
Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
5. Free and Premium Access
Some parts of Versed Bible may be available for free. Other features may require an active subscription.
We may add, remove, change, or limit features from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to keep premium features available, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available without interruption.
6. Bible Content and Study Tools
Versed Bible may include Bible text, study tools, dictionaries, commentary, Strong’s tagging, reading plans, memorization tools, and related resources.
These tools are provided for personal Bible reading, study, and spiritual growth.
While we aim to provide helpful and accurate information, study tools, commentary, dictionary entries, Strong’s tagging, and related content may not always be perfect, complete, or error-free.
You are encouraged to study carefully and use wisdom when relying on study resources.
7. Audio Narration and Voice Features
Premium audio narration may be generated, cached, and played through the app.
Voice-based features may use your device microphone if you choose to use them. You are responsible for granting or denying microphone permission through your device settings.
You agree not to abuse audio generation, transcription, or voice-related features.
8. User Data and Progress
The app may save your reading progress, memorization progress, bookmarks, preferences, badges, and related app activity.
We are not responsible for lost progress caused by device issues, account issues, service outages, app bugs, or user actions, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain reliable service.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Interfere with the app’s operation
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Abuse subscription, audio, transcription, or backend services
- Upload, submit, or transmit harmful code or malicious content
- Misrepresent your identity or subscription status
10. Intellectual Property
The app design, branding, features, layout, code, graphics, badges, reading plans, and original content are owned by Versed Bible or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the app or its original content without permission.
Bible text, dictionaries, commentary, and other study resources may be subject to their own copyright, licensing, or public domain status.
11. Third-Party Services
Versed Bible may use third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Supabase
- RevenueCat
- Google Play Billing
- Apple App Store / StoreKit
- OpenAI
These services may have their own terms and policies. Your use of the app may also be subject to those third-party terms.
12. No Guarantee of Availability
We aim to keep Versed Bible available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access.
The app may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party service outages, or other reasons.
13. Disclaimer
Versed Bible is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantee that the app will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
The app is intended for personal Bible reading and study. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or personal responsibility in spiritual matters.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Versed Bible and its owners, developers, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
15. Account Deletion
If you create an account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app:

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription through Google Play or Apple App Store.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
If changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
